This month we’re celebrating the 10th anniversary of the first release of ‘The Big Lap’ series on DVD back in 2013.
Can you believe that . . . 10 Years!?
With the anniversary approaching we figured there would never be a better time to release the series on YouTube where we hope it can inspire a new generation to get out and chase their travel dreams.
As it turns out, we live in a world now with ‘AI’ technology which can do amazing things with photos and video.
Over the past 5 months or so we’ve been working away at remastering the series in 4K UHD resolution which is 4x more than it was even filmed in.
The results have been mind blowing with big sections of the film looking like they were filmed yesterday using a modern 4K video camera.
If you’ve only ever seen the DVD version then you’ll probably feel like you’re watching it again for the first time.
