What is reverse osmosis?
Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water purification process that removes contaminants, dissolved salts, and impurities by forcing water through a semipermeable membrane. This membrane allows water molecules to pass through while blocking larger particles, such as bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, and dissolved solids.
