Jeep gets a bad rap

When your customers are making rap songs about your product for all the wrong reasons, it's time to take notice!

Disgruntled Jeep owner, Teg Sethi has released a rap video titled “I Made A Mistake I Bought A Lemon Jeep song by Teggy – Jeep Grand Cherokee, what a lemon!”

Teg joins Ashton Wood who famously destroyed his Jeep completely in his quest to raise awareness of Australia’s weak ‘lemon laws. (www.destroymyjeep.com)

Teggy’s video has only been out less than 48 hours but has already clocked up nearly half a million views on YouTube and countless others on Facebook.

I’m guessing the slogan ‘I bought a Jeep’ is losing some of it’s lustre!

I lapped Australia and Tas . Jeep Patriot, towed camper van . Not a problem .

Bob H & Wilfred Luff – the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee (JGC) and 2010 Jeep Patriot were both made when Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge was under the ownership of Daimler (makers of Mercedes-Benz). The 2011 JGC was based on the same platform as the ML Mercedes-Benz. Daimler have since sold the Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge brands to Fiat and there have been problems ever since…..

I have had Jeeps for more than 30 years and love them, I use and abuse them and have no regrets.

Yep, same experience. no problems with our Cherokee and it performs very well. Jeep Australia totally unhelpful and uncommunicative and dealer is shyster. Still, same comments for our previous cars .
