Who has time to spend hours in a tyre shop waiting while your new tyres are fitted?
Not me!
Thankfully tyres have joined the online revolution and now you can buy new tyres online AND get them fitted in your driveway at home or at work.
It sounds a bit too good to be true but I’ve used the service myself and it works!
We needed new tyres for our Landrover Discovery Sport so I decided to check out tyroola.com.au and give it a try.

Bottom line was that it was super simple – they had a great range of tyres including the make and size that our car already had, their tyres were well priced and the ordering and fitting process was very straightforward.
Here’s how to buy your new tyres online:
Step 1 – Compare a couple of online tyre retailers
mobiletyreshop.com.au and tyroola.com.au are the big guys in the business.
As with any big purchase, it makes sense to compare prices to make sure you’re getting the best deal.
Step 2 – Check Their Special Offers
Both retailers always have some special deals on offer like ‘Buy 3 get 1 free’ or cashback offers so make sure you check out their deal pages first.
Here are their special offer pages:
Step 3 – Compare brands and prices of tyres
There are several ways to search for tyres including:
- Use your car rego number to show tyres that will fit
- If you know the size (width, profile, rim size) then you can enter those details to filter a list of available tyres
- Search by brand, price range, vehicle type etc.
Both retailers will show you results including premium, mid range and budget options.
Step 4 – Add the tyres to your cart
Once you get to the Shopping Cart you can enter your suburb and choose the date you want them fitted.
Onsite fitting & balancing your new tyres and recycling of your old tyres is usually included in the price of the tyres.
Step 5 – Finalise your order
Once you proceed to Checkout you’ll be able to complete payment and confirm the fitting date, time and your address.
